Raphaelle is an interior architecture studio based in Christchurch and founded by French designer Anais Guennoc.

Space planning, lighting design, soft-furnishing, bespoke furniture and cabinetry design, kitchen and bathroom design are amongst the services we offer. We can assist our clients with their project at all stages, from the feasibility and concept design through to construction documentation and site monitoring, for both residential and commercial environments.

Anais’ profile is somewhat unusual – she is both an interior designer and a structural engineer. The gap between these two disciplines is much narrower than one might think. Not only they complement each other but serve the same purpose – designing the right environment for a blossoming and fulfilling lifestyle – and require the same skills – good communication, technical expertise, sound understanding of building codes and standards, team and design coordination, as well as an ability to develop a vision while paying attention to details.
