Hi! I'm Jen Howell, the creative brain behind Orange Door Interior Design.

I've been working in the Christchurch interiors industry for a little over 20 years, during which time I've worked under the tutelage of and alongside talented interior designers, and co-owned a reknowned Christchurch interiors business. I've been working solo behind the Orange Door since 2022, which provides the flexibility I need as mum to twin tweens!

Over the years I've honed my skills and experience, so I'm a hands-on, practical thinker with realistic ideas and a creative approach! I love layering colour, pattern and texture to define interior spaces, and can co-ordinate schemes, curtains, furniture, shutters, blinds, flooring, fixtures & fittings, finishes, accessories and anything else you need as part of your interiors project!

With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating spaces that inspire, I bring fresh perspective to every project I'm involved in, working closely with you, getting to know you, so we can capture your personality and style. Together, we'll strategise how to co-ordinate things and portray your ideas in your home, with practicality and purpose, guiding and encouraging you through the process so the decisions are all yours! I'm just here to help and make it easier and fun.
